How do I license my pet?

Why do I need to license my pet?

All Dogs over 5 months of age need to be licensed and tagged from your City, Village or Town Treasurer.  Proof of current rabies vaccination is required. Dog license fees may vary between municipalities. A late fee may be assessed to the owner of each dog who fails to obtain a dog license by April 1st of each year.  The tag number and required information on the dog and owner are kept on file at our office for reference.  Contact your city clerk (above) to start the licensing process.

My pet is lost, how do I find them?

1) Contact your local municipality or police department.

2) Contact Darel Hall (Dedicated Animal Control)

3) Contact Arnell Memorial Humane Society to see if someone has turned in your missing pet.

4) Post on Lost Dogs of Wisconsin website

I found a dog or cat, what do I do?

Contact your local municipality or police department or Contact Darel Hall (Dedicated Animal Control) to scan for a microchip with owners information.
